These black roses grow naturally in the tiny village of Halfeti, Turkey. The particular soil conditions and pH levels of the groundwater from the river Euphrates causes the roses to fade from deep crimson to black during the summer. (source)

Anonymous said: Hi! I know you're not a psychiatrist or anything, but I was wondering if you had anything that might help me? I have super severe anxiety problems. I have only left my house once in the past seven months due to crippling agoraphobia. I'm only 18 and it's really tearing me apart that I can't leave my house due to fear of panic attacks. I really need to be able to leave the house, though, because I'm pretty sure I have an infection and I need to see a doctor. Do you have anything that could help?

honeycoyote:

hello lovely anon. i am sorry to hear that you have horrible anxiety :(. I know how much it can suck i suffer from really bad social anxiety and anxiety in general. however over the last year i have really been abel to overcome it.  these are some ways i personally help cope with mine

Crystals: for anxiety, panic attacks and stress. on days when i know i will have to deal with a lot of people and am really nervous i will carry crystals with me. they work great for me because if i feel an attack coming on i can grab the stone and hold it close and focus on its energies and purpose. which has actually saved me from multiple attacks.

Lepidolite: Use Lepidolite to reduce stress associated with change. Lepidolite brings balance and inner peace, helping one to see reasons behind any negative experiences, so they can improve on them. helps to ease our tensions and fears and allow us to face any situation with calm assuredness.

Amethyst: known as the “Stone of Sobriety”. A natural stress reliever, Amethyst can encourage inner strength.

Blue Lace Agate: wonderful traveling companion. It helps to calm frayed nerves as it supports peace and tranquility in any situation. It is very supportive and works with you to allay fears and find center. great for Communication, Stabilizing, Calming

Chrysoprase helps to facilitate deep relaxation. carry with you before any trips and during

Lapis Lazuli is another stone that calming

Mangano calcite Pink Calcite. can be used to assist and ease any type of emotional trauma. is a very gentle, loving and supportive stone.

Tourmaline, Black  is used for protecting one’s energy field against negative vibrations, and also for drawing negative energies away from a person.  It can have a calming effect when needed, grounding flighty or scattered energies into the earth.

Rose Quartz: strong vibration of unconditional love, joy, warmth and healing, its good for people who are energetically sensitive.

(crystal info source)

Calming herb blend pouch: another method is to create a calming blend pouch that can be carried on you to help with anxiety. you could even add crystals to it.

some herbs i find calming are (beware some people are allergic to chamomile)

  • chamomile
  • lavender
  • mint
  • rose

if you are interested in working with herbs i would do some research on herbs for anxiety in general, due to some herbs can affect people with health issues.

Herbal Teas: tea always helps me when i am stressed (i drink a shit ton of it) there are herbal teas you can buy online that are specifically for anxiety or you could make your own blends. heres my recipe for my anxiety tea

Calm that anxiety tea

Materials Needed;

  • 3 parts Lemon Balm
  • 1 part Catmint
  • 1 part Chamomile
  • 2 parts Mint

steep for 10 minutes while focusing on your intent, breath in the steam,  think calming thoughts and relax.

i know how hard it can be sometime anon but please seek medical treatment for your infection. you could be seriously injured if it is left untreated and end up in the hospital (which is not fun if you have agoraphobia Trust me) also if possible you should talk to a doctor about your anxiety they should be abel to help you with it much better than i can.  maybe check this out, i personally havent used it but the reviews were good Anxiety & Stress Essentials Herbal relaxation just read the ingredients first before to make sure you are not allergic to anything. i hope you find this information to be helpful anon i wish you the Best of luck and a swift recovery *HUGS*
